Last week, several members of the "Magnificent Seven" reported their operating results for the September-ended quarter, including Google parent Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL)(NASDAQ:GOOG). While Alphabet's eye-popping single-session decline has made all the headlines, it's a separate milestone that deserves all the attention. Image source: Getty Images.
