I have a managed traditional IRA and a managed Roth IRA with Merrill Lynch and now that I’m doing my brokerage accounts with Fidelity and using the Fidelity 2% credit card, I’m wondering if it’s worth it really to continue paying 40 bucks a month for a managed account with Merrill Lynch instead of just doing self-directed IRAs with Fidelity putting into a target retirement fund or something. Merrill accounts are sitting about 10.5% so far this year. Thoughts?
