DAOER: A cross-industry valuation tool for comparing companies

I was trying to compare Micron with companies like Nvidia, Microsoft and Visa, and realized that forward P/E is not very useful across completely different business models. A memory company can look cheap because earnings are near the top of the cycle. A software company can look expensive while still producing better long-term returns because its growth is more durable and requires less capital.
