If I think there’s a chance I hit the Roth income limit, should I just do a backdoor or should I wait?

What the title says. I’ve never hit any of the income limits for my Roth before but I got a new job and a raise and I think there’s a strong possibility I go past the income limit to be able to invest in a Roth for the year. I will hit my max 401k contribution sometime in October. I’m not sure exactly where I’ll land with pre tax 401k deductions against my income and bonuses but it’s very much a possibility. I have cash now I want to invest. Should I just go right for a backdoor? Or is it bett
