I am a buy-and-hold index investor. I don’t want to own SpaceX. Is it possible to own the S&P 500 without SpaceX? How could I neutralize that one stock without tax consequences, without active trading (such as renewing options), and without selling VOO? I don’t wanna participate in the gains or losses of SpaceX at all. For example, is there an inverse ETF for SpaceX that I could hold long-term? Would that work?
