9/10 options traders lose money.

I constantly see some awesome posts about killer gains and then some real high-level REGARDED posts on some killer losses. A SEBI study found that 87.7% of individual traders lost money on 2025 options and accounted for about 92% of the aggregate losses. Why do people keep yeeting money into oblivion in a market that is the most unpredictable right now? I’m curious what % of your portfolio is invested in ETF etc., for long term growth vs the percentage used to “gamble” aggressively into options.
