Teva Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: TEVA) has increased annual revenue for three consecutive years, following a stretch in which annual revenue fell for six consecutive years. The culprits for the Israel-based pharmaceutical company's six-year slide were increased competition from generics, pricing pressures, and the loss of exclusivity for key products. Thanks to an emphasis on higher-margin therapies, the company appears to be back on track. Its shares are up more than 34% so far this year. The road back may still be a bumpy one. In the third quarter, revenue was $4.4 billion, down 2% year over year. However, there are plenty of positive signs.
