Rogers (NYSE:ROG) delivered a mixed Q3 report on Tuesday evening, but the positive bottom-line results heavily outweighed the top-line miss. The engineered materials specialist (not to be confused with the Canadian communications company of the same name) opened Wednesday's trading 13% higher before sliding back to a 3.8% gain as of 10:45 a.m. ET. Wall Street analysts projected $1.19 per share in earnings for Q3 2026. Rogers blew right past that hurdle, reporting a 54% year-over-year jump in adjusted earnings to $1.39 per share. Management attributed the bottom-line strength to a favorable product mix, increased volume, and continued operational discipline. On the top line, revenues rose 9.3% year-over-year to $236.1 million. That's just short of the Street's $238 million consensus.
