I’ve been doing my best to aim for aggressive, long-term growth and I just can’t seem to sit with one strategy. I open up this platform and I’m seeing funds with 3000% YTD performance, and funds backtested through 2011 with 300% annual returns. What the hell is the catch here? If I put $50, the minimum deposit, in some of these funds at inception (or whatever OOS means) I would have well into the six figures without any additional investment. I also found a study that looked at the ongoing performance of these funds, and it said that the performance severely degraded once the fund started, averaging decline from 200% annual to 50% annual. Which is still crazy. Is this just mega niche? Is it worth dabbling in a couple of these funds? The Beethoven one is ripping today up 20%, and I’m also looking at Simon’s KMLM V2. Lmk ty
