What would you do with 200k if you may need most of it within 18-24 months?

I’m looking for some opinions on how to handle about $200K that I may need access to in roughly 18–24 months. For simplicity, here’s the plan I have right now: I’m putting about $10K into my Schwab account and treating that separately. That money is going into more speculative individual stocks/newer companies that I think have a lot of upside. I understand that portion is risky and I’m comfortable with potentially losing a decent amount of it. That leaves $190K that I want to be much more conservative with. Right now, I’m thinking about putting $100K into a CD so I know that portion is protected and earning a guaranteed return. My question is what you would do with the remaining roughly $90K. This is NOT retirement money or money I’m planning to leave invested for 10+ years. There’s a realistic chance I’ll need some or all of it in a year and a half to two years, so preserving the principal and keeping reasonable access to the money matters a lot. Would you put the other $90K into: Treasury bills / Treasury bonds? A money market fund? Short-term bond funds? CDs with different maturity dates? An S&P 500 index fund or other mutual fund? Some combination of the above? I know the S&P historically makes sense over long periods, but I’m hesitant to put money I may need in 18–24 months into equities and then get caught needing it during a downturn. I’m not expecting to get rich off this $90K. I’d just like to earn a reasonable return without taking unnecessary risk while the money is sitting there. So if you had: $200K total $10K aggressive/speculative $100K already earmarked for a CD $90K left to invest conservatively for roughly 18–24 months What would you do with the $90K, and why? Interested in hearing different approaches.
