The "overvalued" label has followed Space Exploration Technologies (NASDAQ: SPCX) around since before it went public. Despite that, the share price hasn't collapsed over the four-plus months since its June IPO. It closed at $145 on Oct. 22, not much lower than its first-day open of $150. SpaceX's track record so far as a public company raises the question of whether its stock is actually too expensive. Image source: The Motley Fool.
