I understand that you can buy partial shares. Is that why we see fewer stock splits?

Basically the Subject. Like take META, $746 this morning. I understand I could buy a 10% portion for $74.60. But I like buying full shares. Just my personal preference. Is the prevalance of brokerages now offering partial shares the reason that we're seeing fewer stock splits? Again maybe it's just how I operate but if I pay bills and have an extra $500, maybe I'd buy 7 shares of something like META but for whatever reason, buying 70% of 1 share just doesn't excite me.
