Several years ago, I invested small amounts in a few bars and restaurants with NextSeed. Some went out of business due to Covid. Others returned my investment plus interest (around 12%). Republic took over NextSeed, and the ones that were still in business stopped paying. I also invested in Austin Flipsters through Republic and the company disappeared. I no longer live in Texas, so small claims court is out of the question.
