Anthropic PBC has struck a $9.1 billion deal with Riot ($RIOT) Platforms, a crypto mining company that sells AI data center capacity. The deal is for 191 megawatts of computing from Riot's Rockdale, Texas, campus to Anthropic, which is expected to generate $9.1 billion in revenue for Riot. The agreement runs through June 2048 and includes an option to extend the contract, potentially translating into as much as $16.1 billion in total sales for Riot.
