I've been putting my money into ETFs for years. I've made decent returns just based on that. Most of that has been just riding the bull market, but once in a while I've been lucky and bought an industry-focused ETF or something a little more niche for a shorter period of time ( usually under a year ). What I'd like to do is split off 10% of my portfolio and put it towards individual stocks that I take the time to research and invest in for short to mid-term. I'm not interested in taking my money
