The Hong Kong Observatory issued an amber rainstorm warning on Saturday afternoon after saying the city would still face unsettled weather – including strong winds, swells and heavy showers – until the middle of next week. The forecaster issued the rainstorm warning at 2pm, after it replaced the standby typhoon signal with the strong monsoon signal at 3.21am.
