Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) announced this morning that it plans to invest $3 billion in Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META), one of its biggest customers. Nvidia will make the investment as part of Meta's recently announced stock offering. The companies said they will expand their work on Muse, Meta's popular AI assistant, working to improve Meta's family of models that power it. That technical partnership aims to improve both training -- building an AI model -- and inference, using the model after it's been trained. Meta said it plans to expand its deployment of Nvidia's latest hardware: Vera Rubin GPU systems, Vera CPUs, and networking technology.
