What are your thoughts on Wealthsimple? Would you trust it with all your investments?

I’ve been looking into Wealthsimple and am curious to hear about other people’s experiences with the platform. It seems like a convenient option for managing investments, but moving all my investments to one platform is a big decision, so I’d like to hear some honest opinions before considering it seriously. One of my main questions is how comfortable you would feel keeping all your investments in one place rather than spreading them across different financial institutions. Do you feel confident about the security of your accounts, the protection available for your investments, and the process of accessing your money when needed? Mostly, I’d also love to hear how Wealthsimple compares with traditional Canadian banks and other Canadian investment platforms in terms of fees, customer service, available investment options, and overall peace of mind. Have any of you transferred your entire portfolio to Wealthsimple? If so, what made you decide to do it, and have you been happy with that decision? On the other hand, if you decided to keep some investments elsewhere, what was the main reason? I’m not necessarily looking for people to convince me one way or the other. I’d appreciate hearing both the positives and negatives, especially from people with firsthand experience. Overall, how much would you trust Wealthsimple with your entire investment portfolio, and why? This version is designed to invite balanced responses from experienced investors rather than just getting simple yes-or-no answers.
