Looking to move get into VEQT, get in now or wait for potential volatility with US Midterms?

I know time in the market is better than timing the market but if there is a good chance of a dip in the next month or two with the US midterms, would it be better to wait? Alternatively I can do waves of investing where I put 50% in now and the remaining 50% split over October and November. Appreciate any thoughts or input
