Iran Has 'Little Incentive' To Open Strait, Says Former Ambassador Daniel Fried

Daniel Fried, former US ambassador to Poland, said 'Iranians have little incentive in the near term' to allow the Strait of Hormuz to open and that a solution to the conflict will require patience. Fried, who also served as the assistant Secretary of State for Europe, also said that when it comes to assisting Ukraine in war against Russia, the US is leaving 'perfectly good leverage on the table' because Ukrainian success also means success for the US.
