Long story short we moved from NY to FL, our NY home was supposed to settle prior to closing on the FL home so we could apply our equity to the new loan but the timing didn’t work out since our NY attorney dropped the ball and we didn’t want to lose our rate lock here (4.99% 30yr VA - Rocket) Anyway, we have $280k in equity on its way to us and we aren’t sure where to park it and let it grow.
