Most major banks, including JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM), Bank of America (NYSE: BAC), and Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC), have already reported their third-quarter earnings. And all in all, they weren't great. JPMorgan's numbers came up short, as did BofA's.
