No, seriously, stop buying options on SPY. You should be using SPX. You can trade options overnight if that fancies you, it will cash settle at close without assignment risk, and you pay less in capital gains. And you can do extra dumb degenerate stuff like buying 0DTEs 30 seconds before close to get assigned. Like I did today with SPX $7500 C’s @ 0.75 and they will settle at ~3.85. EDIT: Looks like we got a case of the poors
