Hey investors! I hope this isn't too basic of a question and i actually missed the answer while looking for it... Most retirement calculators i see help you do some rough paper math by giving you 6-7% return which (i believe) stems from the SP500 avg of 10% minus 3-4% for inflation. But isn't the advice to increase the percentage of bonds in your portfolio as you get older? A 55 year old that wants to retire at 65 may not be 100% into SP500 but maybe closer to 60/40 Stocks/Bonds ? How do you ac
