when does compound interest start to show a lot?

i started investing a little under a year ago, and over 98% of the money in my investment accounts are mine with just a littttttttttle growth. i understand that time in the market matters a lot, so i was wondering when does compound interest really start to show and carry? is there a certain milestone like reaching 100k? or investing consistently after x amount of years?
