Which one requires more skill: beating the market by 15 percent total after three years or beating the market by single

Pretty much what this question is asking. I’m just curious to know what this subs opinions are on which one is considered more impressive. I obviously know index funds are the way to go for building long term wealth but for curiosity’s sake I was wondering about which type of outperformance requires the most skill when it comes to individual stocks.
